Position Overview
Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in organizing and delivering high-quality resident care in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Resident Care conferences, ensuring that Resident Care Plans are accurate and current.
- Prepare and administer medications per physician orders, managing inventory to replace expired medications timely.
- Document patient care activities correctly and escalate any issues as necessary.
- Identify signs and symptoms, utilizing sound judgment to select appropriate treatments or interventions.
- Provide supervision and guidance to ancillary staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall team functions.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.Preferred : 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility.Preferred : 1 year of experience in supervising and monitoring staff.IV Certification necessary.Proficient in computer word processing and database management.Fluent in English; able to read, write, and communicate effectively.Demonstrated excellent customer service abilities.Work Environment / Physical Demands
