Position SummaryThe Food Service Worker supports daily meal preparation and service for youth in residential care while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. This role models professionalism, respect, and care in all interactions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve meals for children and adolescents
Set up and maintain serving and dining areas
Follow safe food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Clean kitchen, storage, and dining spaces
Monitor refrigeration temperatures
Part-time position
Rotating schedule with weekends included
High school diploma or GED preferred
Kitchen or cafeteria experience required
Experience working with children in a school or residential setting preferred
Basic computer and email skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
