Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 9 / 2025 – End : 3 / 10 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : 7E IMC (Intermediate Care / Cardiac Stepdown)

Nursing Shift : Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend

Location : Baltimore, MD 21218 (Maryland nursing jobs)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1590-$1710

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Maryland or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown, IMC, or PCU nursing experience

At least 1 prior travel nurse assignment required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience with Cerner EMR charting system preferred

Skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, wound care, and high-flow nasal cannula

Ability to float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed

Comfortable caring for patients with possible COVID-19 exposure

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality cardiac nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a stepdown unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias and telemetry

Administer medications, therapies, and cardiac interventions as prescribed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response

Document patient care using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)

Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions

Float to other nursing units of similar or lower acuity as needed

Participate in orientation and complete required modules (average 12 hours pre-start)
