Position Overview :
Tap Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Mammography Supervisor to join a leading healthcare organization in Torrance, California . In this full-time leadership role, you'll oversee mammography operations, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic imaging quality, safety, and patient care. The ideal candidate is an accomplished technologist with strong leadership skills, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for supporting both clinical excellence and team development.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree required.
Associates Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent from an A.M.A.-approved program.
California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, or one of the following equivalent certifications :
California Fluoroscopy Certificate / Permit
California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
National Certified MRI Technologist American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
National Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire.
Two to five years of progressively responsible experience in an acute care setting, including experience with mammography operations, equipment, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications :
Supervisory or leadership experience within a hospital or outpatient imaging department.
Working knowledge of MQSA standards and ACR accreditation processes.
Experience with staff training, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
