Role Overview :
As a .NET / Blazor Developer at Venture, you will be responsible for the modernization of a legacy desktop application, transitioning a mature VB.NET DevExpress WinForms user interface to a modern Blazor-based architecture. This role is focused on building a scalable, maintainable UI foundation that supports long-term product growth.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, ensure high-quality and secure UI implementations, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, reliable user experience within a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities :
UI Modernization & Architecture
- Rewrite existing VB.NET WinForms (DevExpress) user interfaces into Blazor using Telerik UI for Blazor
- Translate complex desktop workflows into modern, responsive web-based user experiences
- Maintain functional parity while improving usability, consistency, and performance
- Design and implement reusable Blazor components aligned with long-term product strategy
Integrate & Collaboration
Integrate Blazor UI with existing .NET backend services, APIs, and business logicCollaborate with backend developers to define clean contracts and data modelsPartner with product and operations teams to validate workflows and edge casesCode Quality & Maintainability
Establish UI coding standards and architectural patterns for the Blazor applicationWrite clean, testable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and technical design discussionsIdentify and reduce technical debt during the modernization effortSecurity & Compliance
Follow secure coding practices appropriate for healthcare SaaS environmentsEnsure proper handling of sensitive data within UI workflows.Required Skills :
Strong .NET development experienceExperience with WinForms applications (VB.NET or C#)Hands-on experience with Blazor (Server and / or WebAssembly)Experience with component-based UI frameworks (Telerik, DevExpress, Syncfusion, or Radzen)Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (Framework and / or .NET 6+)Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy desktop applicationsSolid understanding of UI architecture, state management, and UX principlesExperience applying design patterns to separate UI from business logic (e.g., MVVM, clean architecture)Git-based version control experienceAbility to work independently on complex technical initiativesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills :
