Responsibilities
Hire, Train, Schedule, and supervise bar staff, ensuring they follow procedures and provide excellent customer service.Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, conduct inventory counts, and manage wastage to ensure adequate product availability.Ensure high-quality customer service, address customer inquiries and complaints, and help resolve issues that arise on the floor.Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.Ensure adherence to local liquor laws and regulations and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.Report to the bar manager or general manager, providing feedback, assisting with marketing initiatives, and communicating effectively with the kitchen staff.Required Certificates
Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) Service PermitOregon Food Handler's CardSkills
Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as interact effectively with customers.Proficiency in managing inventory, handling cash, and operating POS systems.Capacity to quickly resolve issues and conflicts that occur during a shift.Meticulous approach to cleanliness, inventory, and adherence to procedures.Strong knowledge of cocktails and other beverages to maintain product quality.Education / Experience Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of ageReliable transportationMust have high school diploma or its equivalent.Supervisor experience in a restaurant bar settingHmc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
