Job Title : Senior Accounting Consultant - Foundation Software Implementation

Location : Sarasota, FL

Pay Rate : $50-$65 / hour

Employment Type : Contract / Consulting

Overview :

A leading construction subcontractor undergoing an acquisition is seeking a high-level accounting consultant to lead the transition of a newly acquired entity onto Foundation software. This role will be deeply embedded with both internal and acquired teams to map chart of accounts, establish SOPs, and implement best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience with acquisitions and software implementations, and deep expertise in Foundation software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with internal and acquired entity staff to understand current accounting workflows and chart of accounts.
• Lead the mapping and migration of financial data into Foundation software.
• Develop and document SOPs and best practices for post-implementation operations.
• Provide hands-on support during month-end close and full-cycle accounting processes.
• Act as a liaison between finance, operations, and software teams to ensure a smooth transition.
