Niyam IT is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical IT Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including software engineers, infrastructure specialists, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The position is contingent upon award of Task Order. Candidate must be open to both hybrid and onsite work, which will be at the CBP location in Ashburn, VA.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, CBP, is one of the world's largest law enforcement organizations and is charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. while facilitating lawful international travel and trade.

Role and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and will serve as the main interface between the government and the Contractor. The Project Manager will oversee the centralized administration of all activities conducted under this contract and will be accountable for the comprehensive management of the designated task order(s), ensuring that the technical solutions and timelines outlined in the task order are executed promptly.

Other essential skills include creative problem-solving, organizational skills, financial project management skills, including earn value management, strong production management capabilities, and a proven understanding of project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for leadership, a strong sense of ownership, and natural communication skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Work authorization / security clearance requirements At Niyam, employees must legally be authorized to work in the United States. Also, employment is contingent upon successful obtainment of a Background Investigation from CBP.
