Compensation : $260,000 - $280,000 annually + Full Benefits

About the Facility

25-bed critical access hospital providing essential care to the region

Serves two local nursing homes (70 and 80 beds)

Highly collaborative medical staff, including advanced practice providers

Progressive, community-centered healthcare model with excellent support resources

Known for fast turnaround and strong partnerships with providers

Position Highlights

Schedule : 4.5-day work week

Patient Load : ~1618 patients / day

Scope : Care for patients of all ages, including newborns

Procedures : Deliveries, newborn care, and minor office procedures; rounding as needed

Support : Work closely with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in a collegial setting

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care across the lifespan

Provide newborn care and attend deliveries when on call

Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, accidents, and minor injuries

Perform routine office procedures and support inpatient rounding when necessary

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system

Collaborate with care teams to ensure patient-centered, high-quality outcomes

Candidate Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified (Family Medicine or Pediatrics)

NRP certification required

Active Montana license (or ability to obtain)

2+ years of post-residency experience preferred
