Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team near San Leandro, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high volume, union payroll processing, with hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now, UKG or Kronos. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees.

Responsibilities :

Process high volume payroll for CA employees weekly

Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state / provincial, and local regulations. Responsible for daily / weekly timecard audit.

Manage payroll tax reporting and filings.

Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and timekeeping

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters

Assist with audits and year-end reporting

Qualifications :

3+ years of payroll experience with emphasis union payroll

Proficiency in UKG and Kronos preferred

Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay Details : $34.00- 38.00 an hour
