Job descriptionPlan, organize, implement, and evaluate recreation programs for school age children, adults, seniors and special populations Recruit and train part time program staff and volunteers Line / paint a variety of sports fields Experience with Access, Excel and Microsoft Office Provide supervision for part time staff and volunteers Assign and monitor duties of site coordinators and supervisors Develop standards, procedures, and regulations for recreational programs Develop training models for various program areas Maintain inventory of equipment and vehicle Budget management of programs Excellent communication skills Assist in seeking additional funding through grant writing and special projects with available resources Develop and maintain cooperative, collaborative working relationships with other agencies in the county Perform administrative and supervisory functions required in operation of total program Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director
