Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary

Mission Community Hospital is looking for a full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team in Panorama City, California.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare lab and be knowledgeable about CLIA and other regulatory standards.

The individual in this position will perform laboratory analysis and tests to help diagnose and treat patients in accordance with established hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to diagnose and treat patients in accordance with hospital protocols, CLIA and other regulatory standards.
• Operate laboratory equipment to run tests and analyze results.
• Communicate results of laboratory tests clearly and accurately to providers and other hospital staff.
• Follow protocol and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Maintain records and data on all laboratory tests.
• Utilize computer systems and software to support laboratory operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work area and equipment.
