Robot Programmer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robot Programmer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record programming Fanuc and Yaskawa (Motoman) robots within automated manufacturing environments. This role supports the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems for industrial automation applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize robot programs for Fanuc and Yaskawa robots used in automated production cells (welding, material handling, palletizing, etc.).
• Perform on-site robot setup, configuration, and commissioning, including I / O mapping and tool center point (TCP) calibration.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate robotic solutions with PLCs and automation equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance for robotic systems.
• Provide technical support during equipment installations and after delivery to customers.
• Use simulation software (e.g., Fanuc Roboguide, Yaskawa MotoSim) for offline programming and validation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of robotic programs, system configurations, and updates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industrial safety and quality standards.

Qualifications :

Proficient in robot programming languages : Fanuc TP and Yaskawa INFORM.

Solid understanding of safety protocols and standards for robotic cells (e.g., RIA, OSHA).

Expected Hours of Work : This position regularly requires 8-12 hour work days and frequent weekend work.

Travel : Requires 60% travel overnights / weekends to customer plants.
