- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management, journalism, communications or related field
- Minimum of three years working experience in the sports digital media space
- Experience directly running social media accounts for collegiate athletics or professional sports organization
- Experience setting goals, strategy and direction for a social media account
- Master’s degree with emphasis in marketing, sports management, journalism, communications or related field
- At least five years of experience working in the digital and social media sector
- Experience working with men’s basketball or football staff at the collegiate or professional level
- Experience working with multimedia rights holder(s) and creating sponsored content for various social mediums
- Experience managing and leading a team of creatives for at least one year
- Experience working in collegiate athletics at the Power 4 or professional sports level
- Knowledge of social media analytical platforms
