About the Department

The Business Administration program emphasizes preparation for decision making in a business environment. Perimeter College faculty members have practical experience in a variety of industries. By drawing upon this experience in the classroom, they provide students with real-world examples to complement business theories.

Position Description

Limited Term Instructors are full-time faculty hired on a semester to semester basis.

The position is renewable for a maximum of 3 semesters and is dependent on enrollment. The selected candidate will be responsible for :

  • Providing 18 semester hours of instruction per semester.
  • Providing student support and advising
  • Maintaining an average of 10 office hours per week
  • Working effectively and professionally with colleagues
  • Teaching a mix of in-person and online classes

Required Experience

A minimum of a Master's degree required in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment).

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Prior teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, desired.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to teach Business at the collegiate level.
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
  • Effective communication skills needed.
  • Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology and ability to teach online is required.
