About the role

Join our AS9100-certified team and put your precision craft to work. As a CNC Milling Machinist, you’ll translate blueprints and software-driven instructions into flight-grade parts. You’ll set up, operate, and fine-tune CNC equipment to hold tight tolerances and deliver flawless components for aerospace applications. You will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor.

A day in the shop

• Begin by reviewing drawings / schematics and confirming GD&T callouts and tolerances.
• Set up MORL-S and Robo Drill CNC machinery, including workholding, tooling, and 4th-axis fixtures.
• Load, verify, and run CNC programs to produce tools and parts to spec; adjust offsets as needed.
• Modify machines with attachments, fixtures, or specialized tooling to expand capabilities.
• Identify materials and select appropriate feeds / speeds for various metals.
• Continuously monitor production, troubleshoot issues, and intervene to prevent defects.
• Measure, inspect, and document results using depth and pitch micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers, thread gauges, Johnson gauges, groove gauges, blade micrometers, height gauges, and edge finders.
