About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your ultimate goal will be to help patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a healthcare or educational setting
  • Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy to patients to improve their communication and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Skills :

    As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families. You will also use your analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and develop effective treatment plans. In addition, your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Finally, your ability to stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field will ensure that you provide the highest quality care to your patients.
