The specifics include achieving and maintaining the highest level of customer service, monitoring and achieving profit, sales, and performance goals, ensuring all store associates achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service, investigating and compiling competitive information, providing daily and weekly statistics to the District Manager and corporate office, ensuring store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place, hiring, supervising, and training all store associates, motivating associates to exceed performance standards, and maintaining appropriate professional relations with the doctor, other National Vision associates, and customers.

The suitable talent includes the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public, the ability to calculate figures and amounts, the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, management experience in the optical industry, and proficient computer skills.
