Phlebotomy Technician

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Technician to support a high-reliability clinical environment serving a diverse patient population. You'll perform high-quality specimen collections, maintain strict chain-of-custody and privacy standards, and deliver great patient care while working closely with clinicians and lab staff.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections; provide clear instructions for urine and culture specimens
• Verify patient identity, label specimens accurately, and ensure proper handling / transport per SOP & CLIA
• Enter demographics / orders in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) ; generate labels and query results
• Follow Universal Blood & Body Fluid Precautions and all safety / industry protocols
• Monitor supplies; communicate material needs and assist with evaluating phlebotomy devices
• Schedule appointments as needed; greet / process lab patients and assist with phones
• Build effective working relationships with patients, clinicians, and lab staff
