DSHS HCLA – Social & Health Program Consultant 4 - Managed Care Systems Consultant - Supporting Region 1
Are you ready to step into a role where your voice and expertise shape how people with complex needs receive care across Washington state? As a Managed Care Systems Consultant with the Department of Social and Health Services' Home and Community Services Division, you'll work at the center of health and community support.
In this role, you will partner closely with Managed care organizations to connect the dots between behavioral health services, physical health, and long-term care providers. Your work ensures people with behavioral health needs, disabilities, or complex circumstances have real opportunities to live safely and independently in their communities.
This is not a behind-the-scenes position. You'll be leading conversations, coaching staff, and helping teams create plans that keep people out of institutions and connected to the supports they need. You'll influence statewide training, policy rollouts, and quality improvement efforts. Please note : This position works a flexible / hybrid schedule based on business needs. The current expectation is that there will occasionally be travel for in-person meetings. The duty station assigned can be within Region 1; which is the following counties - Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla, Whitman, Yakima.
