• Self-scheduling position with weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios of 6 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 24-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
• Daily census of approximately 23 patients
• Must have minimum 1 year of recent unit experience
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• South Carolina nursing license or multistate license required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification mandatory
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and medical surgical care
• Must be willing to float to other qualified units and campuses as needed based on census
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Up to 16 hours of billable module completion time
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Must provide Social Security Number with submittal
• Patient diagnoses include geriatric, nephrology, and general medical surgical conditions
