Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand our 3PL sales portfolio . This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities , targeting companies that require warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution services. You will play a critical role in growing JDL's presence in the North American market and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and acquire new customers in need of 3PL warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation solutions .
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build long-term client relationships , understanding their supply chain needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to drive profitable business growth.
  • Work closely with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service execution.
  • Track sales performance and pipeline progress using CRM tools and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Represent JDL at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in 3PL, logistics, warehousing, or transportation .
  • Proven track record of closing new business and achieving sales targets .
  • Strong understanding of warehousing, distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, and supply chain solutions .
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills .
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented , with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to manage pipeline and reporting.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin is a plus .
