One of the fastest-growing companies in the AI space, fresh off their Series C raise, is expanding their security team under a newly appointed Director of Security. They’re building a world-class function from the ground up and are hiring two Senior Security Engineers to play a pivotal role in that journey.

This is a chance to join an early-stage, high-growth tech company where your impact will be immediate and visible across the business. Both roles are senior IC positions with the autonomy to design, build, and scale security programs in a fast-moving environment.

Roles

Senior Security Engineer – Application Security

  • Build and own the application security program from the ground up.
  • Must bring experience working with AI-powered applications and tooling.
  • Partner with developers to ensure secure product delivery without slowing innovation.

Senior Security Engineer – Detection & Response

  • Design and implement scalable detection and response capabilities.
  • Build tooling, automation, and processes to stay ahead of evolving threats.
  • Operate at scale in a complex, fast-paced environment.

    • What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in early-stage startups or high-growth tech companies.
  • Deep technical expertise in your chosen area (AppSec or Detection / Response).
  • Hands‑on engineering background — building tools, automations, or programs from scratch.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Be part of a newly built security team with strong leadership.
  • Shape security programs at one of the most exciting AI companies in the world.
  • Onsite in San Francisco, working closely with top-tier engineering talent.
