Join our exceptional team at Apex Rehabilitation & Care Center , a renowned 5-Star facility, as a talented and dedicated Recreation Aide specializing in Art, Dance, Music, or Drama Therapy. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents through therapeutic recreational programs.

Responsibilities :

Assist in implementing activities and programs for residents

Work with the residents on the units

Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested

Assist recreation specialists in setting up program areas as needed

Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities

Assist residents to program locations and return residents to appropriate units

Collaborate with Recreation Director to create / modify the recreation calendar and coordinate with outside parties to implement recreational activities.

Be familiar with established emergency procedures

Other duties as assigned

Experience with activities in healthcare settings or college work in recreation therapy preferred

Proficient computer skills necessary

Ability to work effectively as a team member

Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task

smoking supervision
