Job description

We are seeking a talented Network Engineer IV to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced network security and management in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain firewall policies for Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls.
  • Configure and manage Ivanti SSL VPN Gateway to ensure secure remote access.
  • Monitor firewall logs and security events to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to enhance security posture.
  • Utilize strong networking skills to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and processes for clarity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to align network infrastructure with security best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in firewall administration and network security.
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls.
  • Strong experience with Cisco ACI and micro-segmentation.
  • Proficient in Linux server commands and administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) or Juniper Certified Internet Specialist (JCIS).
  • Experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume workloads.
  • Experience in providing guidance and support to junior team members.
