Hydraulic Modeling Engineer - Water / Wastewater

We are seeking a career-minded civil or environmental engineer to lead hydraulic modeling projects, including water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems, across the Mid-Atlantic. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead hydraulic modeling projects using software such as InfoWorks, WaterGEMS, XPSWMM, PCSWMM, KY Pipe, and EPA-SWMM.
• Develop, analyze, and calibrate hydraulic models for water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
• Perform alternative studies, assess system performance, predict future issues, and recommend solutions.
• Prepare technical deliverables, calculations, reports, and engineering designs in compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and scope development.
• Coordinate modeling team efforts and delegate project tasks effectively.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers in hydraulic modeling techniques and project workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams, sub-consultants, and clients, providing timely updates and consultative solutions.
• Conduct quality control and assurance reviews on technical documents and project deliverables.
• Participate in fieldwork as needed to support modeling and design activities.
