Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of large-scale ETL / ELT pipelines and data lakes
• Architect and maintain reliable and scalable data infrastructure using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Optimize data systems for performance and cost efficiency
• Mentor and guide a team of data engineers
• Develop and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Manage and automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar
