Machine Operator - 3rd shift - $24-26 / hour

Metal Cutting experience required

Mechanical aptitude will excel in this position

Responsibilities :

  • Check pieces to the quality standards and dump 4 lbs. basket
  • Adjust machines as required to keep parts in tolerance
  • Change tooling as needed
  • Tumble parts for eliminating burrs, and chips as needed
  • Manual dexterity for adjustments and loading of the machine.
  • Install tooling for setup and tooling is placed in the proper place per the setup sheets

Requirements :

  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Metal Cutting
  • Must be able to use and understand measuring devices and equipment such as, calipers, micrometers, pitch micrometers, hardness tests and thread gages
  • Must pass all ISO training within the first month
  • Lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand at least 6 hours a day
  • Willingness to work overtime
