The Retail Department Manager grows department sales to achieve the store sales plan. Responsibilities include merchandising, customer service, and store maintenance. Primary responsibilities include greeting customers, being knowledgeable of products, assisting with receiving and pricing items, ensuring proper merchandising, communicating customer needs, training new associates, operating the register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Qualifications : Minimum of six months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis. Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
