Electrical Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a prominent client's team in South Charleston, WV within the automotive industry. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits starting from day one.

Pay rate : $100K - $120K (relocation available)

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K

Shift : Monthly rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements with regards to electrical control systems using current controls technologies.
• Maintain control systems to ensure manufacturing activities are within specifications and interpret and apply specifications for manufacturability.
• Support maintenance activities in PM scheduling as well as training and developing maintenance technicians from a controls perspective.
• Collect, track, and advise on downtime issues and implement short and long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage and execute in-house projects for implementing new engineering changes that modify assembly processes and create / revise electrical drawings in AutoCAD 2000 format.
• Develop and implement HMI / MMI interfaces for existing manufacturing systems.
• Consult with vendors regarding software / hardware updates and troubleshooting systems.
• Other related activities related to the scope of the position.
