Manufacturing Manager

We are currently seeking a hard-working and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team in Raynham, MA.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to develop manufacturing personnel.
  • Oversee production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications : Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills :

    Required :

  • A minimum of eight years professional experience
  • Ability to build interdependent partnering relationships that facilitate the accomplishment of Operation's goals / objectives.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to be based on site and support up to 10% domestic and international travel.
  • Preferred :

  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or other relevant fields. Experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
  • Experience in the Healthcare / Medical Devices industry.
  • Experience working in FDA-regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, financial competence and a basic understanding of lean manufacturing technologies.
  • Formal lean six-sigma / process excellence training and / or certification.
  • Other :

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
