Server (food handlers card)

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining service to residents in an assisted living setting. This role ensures meals are served in a professional, courteous, and timely manner while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. The Server plays an important part in promoting a positive resident experience through attentive service and respectful interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

Greet residents and guests in the dining room in a friendly and professional manner.

Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.

Serve meals according to established portion sizes, dietary needs, and community standards.

Ensure residents’ dining needs and requests are met with care and attention.

Set up, clear, and clean tables before and after meals.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and service areas.

Assist with stocking supplies and preparing the dining room for meal service.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.

Communicate effectively with dietary staff and caregivers regarding resident needs or concerns.

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications :

Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

• must also have an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.

Ability to provide excellent customer service and work as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
