Histology Technician

Job title : Technician - Histology

Job location : New York, NY 10065

Shift : 1 : 00 pm - 9 : 00 pm

Pay : $50- $56 / hr

Contract : 5-month possible extension

Duties :

• Able to gross small biopsies & simple routine specimens under supervision of a Pathology Assistant and Supervisor.
• Associates in Science and completion of approved Histology accredited program (required). Or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required).
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Certified Histology Tech or Clinical Lab Tech from NYS ED dept (required).
• 2-3 yrs exp in histology for biopsy specimen & derm.
