Job description

Corporate Accounting And Financial Reporting Position

Prime Healthcare operates 51 hospitals and has more than 360 outpatient locations in 14 states providing more than 2.5 million patient visits annually. Responsibilities

Under the Corporate Executive Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, this position completes and analyzes financial and statistical reporting in support of senior management's goals and objectives. This position ensures timely and accurate financial information, covenant reporting, and related activities. This position also supports the financial projection and analysis department as needed.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

Required qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 - 4 years accounting, finance and / or financial reporting experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand financial statements and footnotes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Windows-based personal computer and accounting and financial reporting software applications.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in preparing a full set of financial statements and footnotes.
  • 2 years of hospital acute care accounting and finance experience.
  • Public accounting (audit) experience and external financial reporting experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $77,812.80 to $101,779.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
