Job descriptionNo nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities Setting : Primarily outpatient, with the option for inpatient care Patients Per Shift : Approximately 5 Board Certification in Gastroenterology with a subspecialty in Internal Medicine is required Active Washington State medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) ACLS and BLS certifications required Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory Credentialing timeframe : Approximately 90 days Collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes : 2 Medical Assistants (MAs) 2 Advanced Practice Providers (PA / NP) Office staff of 8 No supervisory or teaching responsibilities Procedures Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision ERCP (therapeutic and diagnostic) Small bowel biopsy Optional outpatient procedures EMR System Temporary hospital privileges not available Trauma Level Travel and lodging reimbursement (pre-approval required) Enjoy a flexible, weekday-only schedule Opportunity to work in a picturesque region near Garfield, Washington, with access to stunning outdoor activities Make a meaningful impact in a supportive community, with the potential for a permanent role after the locum assignment Competitive compensation with reimbursement for travel and lodging expenses
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist with an Internal Medicine subspecialty for a locum tenens position near Garfield, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician looking to provide high-quality care in a flexible, supportive environment.
