We’re Hiring : Controls Engineer V (Automation & PLC Integration)

100% Onsite | Advanced Manufacturing Environment

Are you passionate about automation, robotics, and control systems ? We’re looking for a Controls Engineer V to join our growing engineering team and play a key role in advancing smart manufacturing systems.

This position offers the opportunity to design, integrate, and optimize PLC-based control systems for complex manufacturing processes — working hands-on with robotics, vision systems, and advanced automation equipment . The ideal candidate is both a technical leader and a hands-on problem solver who can guide projects from design through implementation and plant acceptance.

What You’ll Do :

Lead and implement PLC-based automation and control systems across manufacturing operations

Design, develop, and troubleshoot robotic, PLC, and vision system programs

Oversee control system integration through FAT, SAT, and final plant acceptance

Develop documentation and ensure alignment with engineering standards

Mentor and train engineers and technicians on automation systems

Support process improvement and capital expansion projects from concept to completion

What You Bring :

✅ BS or MS in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

✅ 7+ years of experience designing and integrating PLC systems in advanced manufacturing

✅ Strong understanding of control theory, PID loop tuning, and automation systems

✅ Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and network configuration

✅ Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or OMRON control platforms

✅ Familiarity with industrial communication protocols ( Ethernet / IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc. )

✅ Excellent problem-solving, project leadership, and communication skills

✨ Desired Extras :

• Experience with high-level languages (C#, VB, Java, C++)
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Machine vision integration experience
• Basic project management capabilities
