Location : Washington Schedule : 5 days a week as a contractor, once converted, 3x a week
Pay : $30 - $35 / Hour
Salary : $65000 - $75000 / Year

Our client, an extremely prestigious international non-profit is looking to add a Staff Grant Accountant on a contract to hire basis.
Required :
- Education : Bachelors, Accounting
- 3 years of Grant Accounting Reconciles grant-related General Ledger accounts
- experience with Fund accounting
- Experience accruing with reimbursable grant revenue
Accounting Financial Reporting
Prepare and enter month-end accruals and recurring journal entriesGrant Financial Management :Maintain accurate records of grant revenues and expenditures across multiple programs.Ensure compliance with funder requirements, including federal, state, and private grants.Monitor spending to ensure alignment with grant budgets and allowable costs.ReportingPrepare timely and accurate financial reports for funders, program staff, and leadership.Support the development of grant proposals and budget narratives.Monitor and analyze all budget trends and make recommendation for cost control for various grants.Accounting & Reconciliation :Record grant-related transactions in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.Reconcile grant accounts and ensure proper allocation of expenses.Cross-Functional CollaborationPrepare grant continuation documentation and compile interim and final progress reports.Coordinate grant submission applications with principal investigatorPerforms grant expenditure reconciliations between ERP grants module and other systems / recordsDirect cost allocationsOversees preparation of all monthly grant invoicingAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
