Overview
Kiddo Psychiatry is an insurance-based mental health practice providing care for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families across Texas. We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist licensed in Texas to join our growing team. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor role with remote work for 10+ hours in a week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Provide medication management and psychoeducation to patients and families.
- Document encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely, compliant manner.
- Participate in case discussions and team communication as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA and professional standards at all times.
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.Board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.Active, unrestricted Texas medical license and DEA registration.Experience with telepsychiatry and comfort working with neurodivergent youth.Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.Compensation & Support
