Licensed Nurse

Busy medical practice in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide excellent care to our patients.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice by the State Board as an LPN or RN

One to two years of practical nursing experience in ambulatory care setting

Summary of Duties:

• Conduct patient assessments including health history, medications, allergies, and review of medical records
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans under physician/RN supervision
• Perform routine clinical procedures: immunizations, nebulizer treatments, vision screenings, TB testing
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection following proper patient identification protocols
• Maintain exam room readiness, supplies inventory, and infection control standards
• Handle phone triage, patient messages, and other administrative duties within scope of practice
