Provide essential support to students with special needs in an educational setting as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This position offers on-call flexibility and the chance to work in various school environments, assisting instructional staff with behavior support, academic engagement, and daily classroom operations.
Position Requirements :
Active CPR and CPI certifications required
Background in working with children or vulnerable populations preferred
Patient, adaptable, and able to follow school guidelines and protocols
High school diploma or GED required
Responsibilities Include :
Assisting students in classroom, resource, or inclusion settings
Monitoring student behavior and supporting redirection strategies
Providing physical assistance or personal care when necessary
Collaborating with teaching staff to maintain a safe, supportive learning space
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
