We're currently hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals in Lake County, IL for full-time, in-person roles during the 2025–2026 school year.

This is an exciting opportunity to support students across a range of grade levels—from elementary through high school—as part of a dynamic and student-centered school team. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about providing meaningful support to students with diverse needs.

Position Details : Location : In-person (no virtual or hybrid options). Schedule : Monday - Friday. Guaranteed Weekly Hours : 35 hours a week. Grade Levels : Elementary through high school.

Responsibilities :

• Support emotional regulation and behavior management using coping strategies.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and track student progress.
• Assist with social skills development, including communication and conflict resolution.
• Provide one-on-one support during classroom activities and transitions.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent student support.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for students to express themselves.
