Sr. Architect

What to Expect Tesla is seeking an Sr. Architect to work on multiple projects across FremontTeslaautomotive manufacturing facilitiesas part of a multi-disciplined team.As part of the EPC group, this team is focused on designing, collaborating, and building the first home of Optimus while continue to support critical vehicle programs.This person will directly contribute to projects and our factories in a collaborative work environmentincludingsupportingefforts related tointerior design and Workplace planning. This position is on-site in Fremont, CA.

What You'll Do

Support the design and construction of expansions and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities in our Fremont facilities

Responsible for developing architectural design packages for permitting and construction

Prepare design diagrams, drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules

Coordinate with multidiscipline project teams including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Piping / Plumbing under the guidance of Architectural lead

Work with various manufacturing, construction, and facilities stakeholders to understand end user needs and deliver results that meet the collective team needs

Create or updateas-builtand design drawings by performing site visits and field measurements andutilizeand improve design standards

What You'll Bring

Degree in Architecture, InteriorDesignor equivalent experience

Minimum 7 years of experience

Architectural licensepreferred

Advancedproficiencyin Revit. Ability to complete detailed models, coordinate disciplines, create schedules and details, work inworksets, and create families in Revit

Understanding of how to create efficient construction andpermitdrawing sets

Understanding of California Building Code Requirements and seeking construction administration experience

Enjoy diving into technical and spatial problems and learn about manufacturing and construction while doing so

Expected Compensation $140,000 - $210,000 / annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
