Job description2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED 1st Time Travelers are ACCEPTED Locals are ACCEPTED REQUIRED Certs : ACLS Telemetry AND PCU / DOU / IMC / StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line / care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience PREFERRED Certs : NIH Charge experience Ratios : 1 : 6-7 Shift : 12Hour NIGHTS 36 Hours ONLY Can be Offered! 13-26 weeks accepted RTO : 7 DAYS MAX for AUTO OFFER Float Requirement : YES REQUIRED Weekend Requirement : 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc).
