POSITION OVERVIEW

Position Title : Early Childhood Education : Part-Time UNEX Instructor

Anticipated Start : Spring 2025

Location : Online, hybrid, and in-person in the following locations : Riverside, east Riverside County (Coachella Valley and Mecca), Imperial County (El Centro), and San Luis Obispo County.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

University Extension is seeking experienced professionals to join our instructional team as part-time instructors for adult learners. Successful candidates of this continuous recruitment will be eligible to teach courses as they are scheduled during the year for our Advanced Teaching and Administration in Early Childcare Settings, Teaching in Early Child Care Settings, and Teaching Transitional Kindergarten. This program teaches students how to supervise, mentor and assess staff, and communicate effectively with parents.

Courses are 8-10 weeks in length, averaging 7 teaching hours per week, and are offered online (synchronous on Saturday and / or Sunday) and in-person. Courses delivered in-person and online are typically scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.

We are currently looking for :

• ECE Spanish Bilingual / Biliterate instructors located in east Riverside County, Imperial County and San Luis Obispo County that can teach in-person.
• ECE Spanish Bilingual / Biliterate instructors and English instructors that can deliver online, synchronous courses.
• TK instructors that can deliver online, synchronous courses.
