Senior Network Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a large enterprise technology company located in San Antonio, TX. The Network Engineer will be supporting the US DoD.  The Network Engineer will need to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, Monday through Friday and is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer :

• Work with 3rd party vendors to establish baselines, inventory and understand what is needed
• Design and deploy routing and switching solutions to support defense operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement network security measures to protect sensitive defense information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other defense systems.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
