PeopleSoft Instructor / Trainer
Location : Remote - must reside within Texas
Project Length : 12-18 months
Our healthcare client, is in need of an ERP Instructor / Trainerfor a 12-18 month contract role and be part of a PeopleSoft Financials upgrade initiative. The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of the training to all the existing users, project managers and project resources for a PeopleSoft project . The Instructor / Trainer must work closely with the program areas and IT project team to assist with the implementation.
The primary work location will be REMOTE, however the resource MUST reside within the state of Texas and be available to travel to Austin upon request.
- This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a great new project rollout. The position offers a solid compensation package with some additional advancement / extension opportunities into other departments if interested.
Qualifications / Requirements :
BS / BA in Computer Science or a related fieldAt least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing training curricula for ERP SystemsMust have at least 3+ years of experience, specifically with PeopleSoft FinancialsMust be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectivelyExperience with web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring toolsExperience producing documents for processes and use of software systemsExperience implementing training curricula for instructor led courses and videosExperience with video / audio recording and editingExperience with Microsoft platform - SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, VisioFamiliarity with general IT SDLC processes and on Agile ProjectsExperience delivering in person and virtual classesAbility to multi-task and perform according to deadlines and release schedulesDaily Duties :
Prepare, conduct, and deliver the training programs for PeopleSoft FinancialsCollect data and analyze audiences and training needs, based on new business processes and policies, and apply these into successful training deliveryWrite documentation and materials to be used in the delivery of the training and design exercises to enhance the presentationsGather, analyze, translate and compose technical information into clear, readable materials to be used by technical and non-technical personnelProvide resources and information to all users (classes, workshops, handouts, etc.)Coordinate with software vendors to incorporate information for instructor led / virtual software specific trainingsDeliver on-site and web-based training courses as requiredFacilitate other virtual classes, seminars and links for "how-to" guidesPlan and maintain training schedules / calendar / logsRespond to training requests and new user requirementsGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
