Job description

We are seeking a Pediatric Pathologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia. This role begins on Oct 6, 2025, and involves weekday shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, working 2-3 weeks per month. The successful candidate will be integral in handling pathology cases, specifically within pediatric and transfusion medicine settings, utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnose diseases in pediatric patients using laboratory methods.
  • Perform examinations and consultations related to pediatric pathology.
  • Manage and oversee blood bank and transfusion services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pathology reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and case management.

  • Required Board Certifications : Blood Banking / Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Pathology, Medical Microbiology, Pediatric Pathology
  • Licenses Needed : Valid GA medical license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
