We are seeking an experienced Shop Welder skilled in Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) to join our fabrication team. This role involves welding and assembling structural steel components in a shop environment with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform FCAW welding to fabricate structural steel components from shop drawings and blueprints
• Operate fabrication equipment including cutting torches, grinders, and overhead cranes
• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure finished products meet quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and detailed fabrication drawings
• Maintain clean and organized work areas with a strong focus on shop safety
• Assist in layout, fit-up, and assembly prior to welding when needed
• Inspect completed welds for structural soundness and conformance
• Work collaboratively with other welders, fitters, and shop personnel
