Real Estate General Counsel

We were just retained by a private real estate lender here in Austin to source them a real estate General Counsel to head their in-house legal team. Our client, as a hard money lender, is in a tremendous growth mode, and this is a fantastic "ground floor" opportunity. They want to start keeping the loan fulfillment operations in-house, so this role would be helping to build the team to do so. Your background would include 6+ years of real estate experience, with a particular emphasis on lending and loan fulfillment. Specific experience would include the review and approval of lender’s loan package

• Preparation and review of loan documents
• Closing disclosure preparation / HUD statement
• Authorize loan funding
• Review executed loan package
