Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Executive Assistant acts as a thought partner and trusted advisor to the President and plans and implements administrative, project management and operational activities for the President. The Executive Assistant organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate the President's effectiveness. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and communicates on behalf of the President. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and manages the work of the Board and committees. This position manages a variety of special projects for the President, including cross-functional projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Qualified candidates will have, but not limited to :
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to provide strong culturally-responsive customer service;
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork and collaboration with colleagues with varied skills and responsibilities;
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills, including skills in developing talking points and presentations;
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response;
- Forward looking planner, with project management skills to map the actions, steps, and resources needed to move strategic initiatives forward;
- Bachelor's Degree or professional certification appropriate to the position, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum five years of experience supporting C-level executives and boards, preferably in a non-profit organization.
The Executive Assistant to the President has an annual pay of $80,771.73, and is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes :
